How do you get the screensaver to run when Vista's automatic defrag kicks in?
I am having a problem with Vista. I am idled on my computer and my screensaver kicks in (not the problem). The problem occurs when Vista's automatic defrag starts to run which disables my screensaver. How do I get both to run concurrently?
You can try a good third party automatic defragmenter. Google for 'fully automatic defragmenter'. It's not a resource hog, so unlike scheduled/manual defrag, it will not disrupt any running program. You can use the PC normally (including running screensavers) while it's defragmenting in the background using idle resources.
