Why won't my printer work...even with the correct drivers (using Windows 7)?
I am running a 64 bit version on Windows 7 on my computer. Apparently as my windows update settings are on 'automatic' the correct drivers should already be there and the printer should work once the USB is plugged in. However...it doesn't. I am using a HP deskjet 970 Cxi. How can I fix this????
You're right, your printer should work by plugging in the printer's USB cable, as the drivers for your printer are already installed in Windows 7.
