amd 64 X2 4400+ (AM2)?
okay, im really pissed off that my 4400+ wont play fsx without maxing out at 26.6fps.
my setup:
amd 64 X2 4400+ (AM2)
Abit Kn9-SLI
Corsair XMS2 2gb ddr2 800
Evga 9600GSO 386mb
650W psu
Arctic cooling Freezer 64 pro AMD cpu fan.
i cant get any stable oc higher than 2.426ghz
any suggestions for a higher OC?
i can get to 2.5 (but crashes on stuff using 51% or more cpu usage)
my target is 2.8~3.0Ghz
any RAM tweaks? or HT multiplier settings?
my cpu is cooled down enough, i jsut want to reach it while still in the stable.
btw, i set all the settings the way i wanted them to be, so the performance/quality is 50/50
Dude if you can get you 4400+ up to 2.6ghz, tell me, This processors are not overclockers, a friend of mine has a 6000+stock 3.1ghz OC to 3.3...Intel's cpu's are just better OCers...
My friend has an intel stock 2.5 and he got it up to 3.7ghz stable.
