windows XP vs windows 7, which is better?
i just ordered a cheap little video card to upgrade from my ati radeon x1050 128mb video card...and i ordered a 512mb HD 2400. MUCH better
Anyways, so i got this better video card and im currently running windows xp profesional and iv been hearing good things about windows 7. Im just wondering if I should upgrade to windows 7 because it has direct x10 and a bunch of other nice features. What im worried about is RAM. i dont want to upgrade right now, but i only have 1gb of ram. i looked at the minimum requirments for windows 7 and it said 1gb was the MINIMUM.
will xp run better than windows 7?
my pc specs:
intel pentium dual core 2.8ghz
1gb RAM
ATI x1050 pro 128mb (switching to) ATI saphire HD 2400 512mb (pci e)
XP will run better but may not be better, I would try them both, if you like Windows 7 quite a bit more Irecommendd considering a memory upgrade at least.
