Saw a computer to buy that is pentium 4, 2.8Ghz, 512M Ram, 40GB Hard Drive its second hand
At the moment ours is penitium 2, 400Mhz, 256 Ram and 9.40G
Is it worth it buy the second hand one? although it has no moniter can it be applicable to any monitor?
its up for $250 i dont need anything high tech just one that can run the internet and word and can acutally be a bit faster when opening programs
I would stay away from places like dell. Sure they are good computers to a point but very generic parts also i know IBM employees who hate working on anything DELL and such as they are not as easy as normal computers.
I would upgrade forshure. I bought a P4 2.8ghz used and works great. my other before was a P4 2 ghz used and still going great. Infact i'm on it righ tnow.
Depends on the price. I wouldnt pay more than 250 for that one.
500 m ram inst alot 40gig hd is small as hell. i'm running around 1.4 terabytes currently and most of it is full lol. I would buy the computer you are getting possibly and toss a 250g hard drive in there. we bought one for 100 at futureshop it was on sale and it's great.
