It depends on what you like to do on the computer. You also didn't mention whether your motherboard is AGP or PCI-E.
If it's just a email / work / school machine then I'd recommend something cheap and reliable. Just about anything will do for this as long as it's compatible with your system.
If it's a gaming machine or you do a lot of video editing I'd recommend something like this if you like ATI.
