PC wont run games? PLEASE HELP?
I try to run Call of Duty1, which used to work fine, no my dell optiplex 745, with an intel graphics card that can play dawn of war and half life 2 fine, 2 GB RAM, a 3 GHZ processor and a 750 GB hard drive.
I insert the CD, then click play game on the menu. The game does a call of duty banner, screen goes black as if it's starting, but then I get returned to desktop, and no game runs, but everything else works fine.
Please help me by telling me what I need to do to fix this, and get CoD and other games that only run on the DVD to work. (This problem only occurrs with games that use the CD drive, althought Music CDs and Movie DVDs run fine, just not game DVDs)
It's on Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 3
