Hello, My computer takes 10 seconds to shut down and 45-50 seconds to startup.
Is this fast or slow for these specifications
RAM: 4gb
CPU: intel i5 661 @ 3.33 GHz 2 cores 4 threads
Graphics Card: ATI radeon HD 5770 1 GB
OS: Windows 7 professional 64-bit
Drives: 1 DVD burner
PSU: 750 w
5 Common Problem’s that slow a PC down
1. Cluttered Registry.
2. Too many start up programs.
3. Full Hard Drive.
4. Not enough Memory.
5. Spyware & Malicious Programs.
My guess is look at number 2?if not in startup, you may have to go into properties and uncheck"startup with windows" and opt for a shortcut on the desktop for unecessary programs. Being a 64 bit OS it will try and start every thing under the sun, a lot unecessary, really all you need is you AV, OS and system files and not all of those are necessary?
