Should i Keep Vista or Load XP onto this Computer?
will there be a dramatic speed increase if i put Xp on my computer?

If you computer is slow right now, then it is not a hardware problem, I am running vista with 2 Gigs of memory (RAM), DDR2, a 320GB HDD, nVidia GeForce 8500 GPU, and a dual core CPU. With Vista and my computer is pretty fast, And I use it for gaming, can play any MMORPG or other game like Assassins Creed on full graphics no lag at all. So it isn't your hardware if your PC is slow currently. Try defraging your computer, virus and registry scanning.
Personally I would keep Vista, Or wait to just buy/build a new PC when Windows 7 is released, I have the trial version of 7 on my Virtual PC and it is great, obviously looks nicer then previous OS's, runs faster, the system files aren't as big as Vista, and more. So down-grading to XP isn't going to get you far.
