Should I buy this Desktop PC? 5GHz - 8gb RAM - 500gb harddrive - $600?

its a good PC, however alot of things there are just not useful.

first off is the 8gb of ram. thats good but only if your running of a 64bit OS which for most computer users is very very difficult and confusing. 32bit windows only read up to 3.25 gb of ram, the other 4.75 will be here doing nothing. thats $40 down the drain.

2nd since it doesn't have an operating system, that will cost another around $200. so thats useless.

3rd. 5Ghtz on a processor is not a good idea. not a good idea at all especially with a stock cooler. that computer will probably over heat in 5 mins. in all honesty, a good processor wont need to be OC that much. only alittle like from 2.5 to 3.5 at most. but to 5? i dont see how thats possible. 500 gb HDD is good but with that system, u might as well say bye bye to $600 cause if the bios is not set up correctly, ull have the computer working for 10 mins then ban fried system.

a story i have is when my friend wouldnt listen to me to use a better cooling system. he used to run his pc all night on 4.5 ghtz on a stock cooler. he was telling me this. what happened he left it on all night and wen he woke up, it turns out his heatsink actaually melted slightly and caused the cpu to explode off the board. $400 in computer parts down the drain. let that be a lesson. if u want to buy an equivalent pc, u can save around 100 - 200 by buying it through newegg. if u want a new pc please contact me through Email. ive been building custom pcs and doing tech support for years now and i know what im talking about. please give me an email b4 you buy this. deffinatly not a good buy.
