If I were to upgrade the RAM. Would this PC be compatible with Windows 7? Or will I be required to update the PC with a new video card too. ?
Just up the ram from 512mb to 1gb and you will be ok. However if you dont already have windows 7 you can get a better new pc with windows 7 installed for about the same price or a little bit more.
