Does Windows XP Home and Pro have a maximum limit amount or RAM I can use?
Im planning on upgrading my system to 8 GB DDR3 400.
The standard 32-bit OS cannot use all that RAM. You can have it, but only about 3.5 GB or RAM will be used at once. However, if you get a 64-bit OS, which is a little more expensive, it can utilize the RAM in a more efficient way than the 32-bit OS.
