Help!! pls, Powerbook g4 12" gray/blue screen problem!!!?
Hi, i'll really appreciate if someone could give me a hand
with my Powerbook g4 12'' 1.3ghz 1.25 of Ram 80gb Hd.
Last night i was watching a movie and sudendly the machine became frozen, and like around 10 seconds later, around 50 vertical lines appeared while still frozen, so i made a restart,
and now the gray boot screen comes with half of the screen ok and the other half with a lot of vertical lines of many colors, and finally i get the blue screen of death no icons no mouse pointer, nothing is just dead with the blue screen.
I'm frustated, in 4 years this is my first problem.

Sounds like your graphics card may be done. But I would bring it to the apple store and see what they can do.
If you can hook it up to a 2nd monitor, do so and see if you get a picture, if not, then its probably your graphics card, if you do get a picture its your macs screen.
Either way i do not think there is anything you can do, so either call apple or go to a retail store in your area.
