need help dont know which of these to get for my new gaming rig =
intel core 2 duo 3.0ghz, 1333mhz FSB, 6mb L2 cache, 45 nm, 45W or

E8400 blows the 6400+ out of the water in every benchmark, and it uses less power, plus you can pretty much overclock it as far as you want. Good motherboard choice too. Don't forget to get a decent graphics card or the CPU won't matter.
Don't bother with a quad-core either, no need.
