How can I determine how many DVD+- Discs I will need to do a full backup of my hard drive?
I have a 250GB hard drive but only 17.8 GB used on the C: and only 8.34GB used on the D: partition (O/S). I have a 16X DVD+-RW drive. Does the X rating on the media have a significant affect when backing up. Is there a recommended reading on these subjects?
DVD discs hold quite a bit, and you only have like 26 gb to put on the dvds. just get a 10 pack of dvds, that will be plenty.
