How to know if someone signs on Windows Live Messenger 2011?
I just downloaded the new Windows Live Messenger 2011, and I think it's pretty good, but it does not tell you when someone signs on. Is there anyway to make that happen?

Well you get only get that alert if the contact is in your favorite lists at the top.
You can do that by going to
- Press Alt to display menu bar
- Tools > Options > Notification > Tick " A favourite signs into messenger".
