What is a best OS,for a slower PC?
I have a Lenovo 3000H Desktop.
Intel Pentium 4CPU 3.06GHZ with 248mb of memory.I'm planning to buy a laptop in 2010-2011.So I don't wan't to add extra memory to this.So what OS should I use?
I have SP2,but I think my PC is still very slow.I don't wan't to go for Ubuntu.I just want my PC to work the next couple of months.So please help.
I use softwares like Ccleaner,Tune-UP,Registy booster regularly,so I know it's not because of junk files.So,please name an OS which I can use for the time-being.
I basically play small hidden object games in it.And no big,stuffy games.

If you mean Vista Service Pack 2, perhaps try XP.
If XP is slowing you down, try windows 2000. I have found that this runs not too terribly on an older machine.
