those are the specs i really like how it is but is it worth it for me to buy one of these?? im an engineering student (freshman) that will start at UVA this fall and need a laptop ne help would be great! it says i need a laptop thats IBM compatable whatever that means so thats why im looking at IBM.
The X301 is an ultraportable laptop. Very small, and so more expensive. There are other aspects of the ThinkPads, like APS titanium covers etc. that make some models more expensive.
There are cheaper versions of X301s and there are cheaper Lenovo systems. But you must make some compromise between power, weight, price and durability.
