Why is crysis lagging like hell on my pc?

Nvidia Geforce 8400GS,512MB
1gb of ram and WIN 7 ultimate
when i used very high graphics, the game get lag,the lagging get maximum at the night,when sun rise the lagging gets minimum why is that?And how to get maximum number of fps?can i play crysis on very high graphics without lagging!please help me!
Need more computer memory for starters. 1GB is too little especially for Win7.
